What kind of services do you provide?
Valsamma Joy is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner with prescription privileges. She provides in person and telehealth(video) visits to evaluate, diagnose and treat her patients with appropriate medications using electronic prescriptions. Eligible patients will be referred for psychotherapy to be provided by licensed therapists.
Why is Telehealth frequently used for Management of Mental Health?
Telehealth is a safe and convenient option for getting mental behavioural health care at your own convenience. Patients may be able to attend appointments without needing transportation, taking time off from work, or arranging for childcare. Those factors can be important in a long-term treatment plan. Patients of age 18 and above.
How long it may take to get An Appointment?
Patients can see the provider in 1 week, provided that all the intake documents are submitted on time.
How frequently do you see patients?
After the first evaluation, each patient will be followed up every month unless the patient wants to be seen earlier.
Do you see patients without Health Insurance?
Patients without insurance can be accepted with self-pay options.
Is there a no-show or Cancellation Fee?
Patients who are a no-show or who fail to cancel their appointments within 24 hours prior to their confirmed appointments will be charged a fee in the amount of $75.
